Simplex / Basket Filter

An official definition adopted by the Fluid Controls Institute is: "A closed vessel with cleanable screen element designed to remove and retain foreign particles down to 0.001 inch diameter from various flowing fluids."
A simplex/basket strainer is a design where the strainer is shaped like a basket and usually installed in a vertical system.
These can also be supplied with zinc anodes.

Sea Guard Strainers

Sea Guard Strainers is a strainer with compact design having the same function as that of Simplex/Basket Strainer and having the same straining area.
These can also be supplied with zinc anodes.

Y Type strainer

"Y" Type Strainers are named after their shape and normally used for course filtration. But with large filtration area can be used with fine mesh also. The Strainer improves the clearance in the medium, and prolongs the life of valves; protect expensive pumps, meters and other equipments. It is suitable for water, Air, Gas, petroleum, steam and other fluids.

Duplex Filter

Duplex strainer or twin basket strainer is a type of filter built into a fuel, oil or water piping system and it is used to remove large particles of dirt and debris. The duplex strainer system usually consists of two separate strainer baskets housed.
These can also be supplied with zinc anodes.

Weed Box / Mud Box

Mud boxes are fitted into the machinery space bilge piping. A mud box is a coarse strainer with a straight tail pipe down to the bilge. To enable the internal perforated plate to be cleaned when necessary, the lid of the mud box is easily removed without disconnecting any pipe work.
These can also be supplied with zinc anodes.

Rose Box / Strum Box

A rose box is a strainer placed around the end of a bilge suction pipe.
